25TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY
This year celebrates 25 years since the delivery of the inaugural "Rider Down" Course, a motorcycle specific Emergency First Aid course
.
Following request for a biker specific first aid course I was tasked in my role as a Training Development Advisor for a national training provider with its design and development. With the assistance of my close friend and fellow trainer Steve Mckeown invited guest from the British Motorcycle Federation, Institute of Advanced Motorist along with Rick Hulse, National Chairman of The National Association for Bikers with a Disability, gathered in Fallowfield, Gtr Manchester for delivery of the very first course.
Medcare Training Services are pleased to announce that 25yrs later following a difficult few months for everyone the course is available once again in the classroom.
Would you know what to do next? Helmet removal, spinal immobilisation, fracture management, catastrophic bleed, accident scene management, emergency service liaison and much more. This hands on course will give you the confidence to deal with an injured rider safely.
We are taking provisional no deposit bookings for clubs and riders groups now. Open courses are run for solo riders when there is enough interest expressed. Message or email for further details.

"Jackie Wright A59ers RC" This rider down course is the best I have attended the course is easy going well paced and understandable throughout, delivered with confidence and a deep understanding of the motorcycle world and the accidents that often come from it. I must admit it surprised me and I found myself feeling better placed to deal with an accident, in fact I have had the misfortune to attend 2, but the knowledge I got from this course helped me deal with it. thank you doc can't wait for the updated course. jax .
Graeme was an excellent tutor at our recent motorcycle club course on first aid, designed for bikers. He has a lifetime of experience and is clearly passionate about saving bikers lives. We will be in touch again when we need a refresher course :-).Thanks.Tim Jones.Beermonsters MCC - Chairman
"Gail Evans" Recently completed both Emergency First Aid At Work and Rider Down on scene training. Instruction was well delivered and clear. I would recommend Medcare Training highly.
"Dean Owen" I attended Medcare Training Motorcycle first res-ponder course. I found the course very informative and taught in a way that far expected my expectations. The Course Tutor Graeme "Doc" has used his past work experience and as a keen motorcyclist to bring together a course that I believe ever road user should attend. The course is great value for money, the delivery, service and quality of the course is excellent. I highly recommend this course!
"Derrick Moss" Southport Cruisers recently held a refresher on the biker down first on scene course. The course is well put together, delivered in easy stages that are clear and informative. The course gives you the tools to do something, and you know what needs to be done, and how to do it should you come across an emergency situation.
